Brian Moses shows a DIY mod to have your own self-made Qi Wireless car dock. From the Youtube’s description video:

So you’re using an DC to AC inverter and plugging in the charging unit into that? Is there any way to splice it directly into the cars charging system? Does the little white brick output DC or AC power, and at which voltage?
Most of the Qi chargers I’ve seen are powered by standard micro USB.
